Chicago and Its Botanic Garden:  The Chicago Horticultural Society at 125
World's Fairs, elaborate extravaganzas of technology, art and science, influenced major trends in U.S. public green spaces and private gardens. Ms. Maloney will describe nine World's Fair gardens from 1870 through 1940, and highlight the remarkable landscape and gardening trends showcased at these international displays of horticultural innovation.
